Session Description: English learners must be appropriately challenged in order to advance their academic achievement and English proficiency. But, finding a balance between challenging and discouraging students can be difficult for teachers. Based on more than 100 observations of classrooms with English learners, specific ideas will be provided for enhancing instruction for your students -- and knowing how much to "push."
